Carbon Laser Peels are a highly effective way to repair and rejuvenate your skin. They reduce fine lines, aid in the repair of damaged skin (including acne scars), treat spotty outbreaks, reduce oiliness and even out skin tone and pigmentation. Directly after a Carbon Laser Facial your skin will look and feel both healthier and younger but the most significant effects come 2-4 days following a treatment as the collagen production stimulated by the laser starts to work and your skin takes on a firmer and glowing appearance. This treatment is especially popular with clients who have a special function or event to attend and who wish to look their absolute best.
How does a Carbon Laser Facial Peel work?
A Carbon Laser Peel uses a special kind of laser light at wavelength of 1064 nm (nanometres) to heat up a layer of carbon paste on the skin and penetrate gently into the dermis to initiate a gentle peel of your old and dead skin cells. Additionally the laser light stimulates the production of collagen which is vital to keeping skin firm, tight and healthy.
To produce the laser light necessary for the treatment a special kind of Laser machine is needed called a Q-Switched ND/YAG laser. This state of the art technology is now available to you from my treatment rooms in Bartley easily accessible from the M27 Junction 1 and just a short distance from Totton, Bramshaw and Lyndhurst.

Please note that prior to your full appointment a short session (less than 10 minutes) is needed to perform a patch test to ensure you have no adverse reactions to the carbon paste or the laser. additionally this enables my to gauge the correct settings for your full treatment.
